13 Aralık 2024 tarihinde Johns Hopkins Üniversitesi Whiting Mühendislik Fakültesi ile Müşavirliğimiz arasında, YLSY bursiyerlerimiz için anlaşma yapılması, eğitim ve akademik işbirliği konularında çalışma yapılması için mutabakat yapıldı.
Eğitim Müşavirimiz Prof. Zeliha Koçak Tufan hesabından şu bilgileri paylaştı:
''A few weeks ago, we signed a letter of intent with Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering!
The Whiting School of Engineering's work in areas like extreme materials, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, neuroscience,materials engineering, language processing, applied mathematics and statistics, additive manufacturing, computer science, computer engineering, and electrical engineering etc is extremely important for our graduate students.
Many thanks to Prof. Larry Nagahara, Vice Dean for Research and Translation, Prof. Hedy Alavi, Associate Dean for Global Partnerships, and their dedicated team! On the very last day of my term in Washington, D.C., we came together to sign the documents after months of hard work. I can not thank them enough.
Collaborations will be possible in the following areas:
1. Visiting Student Research Opportunities at JHU;
2. Exchange of faculty members and researchers;
3. Exchange of students;
4. Joint research activities;
5. Exchange of academic materials and publications;
6. Participation in seminars and academic meetings;
7. Short-term academic programs.
